Welcome to Design OG

This is the first post of what I truly hope will become an online home to those looking to learn about design for the Web, as well as the latest technologies that enhance online design.

As the president of Pearse Street Consulting, I have attempted blogging for the business a few times only to find that I was too bogged down with running my business to really sit down and reflect on it at regular intervals. Thankfully all that hard work has paid off and our team of designers has grown to serve a broad clientele with a dynamic range of design-related services. Most importantly, my poor arms are getting a much needed break! Instead of designing 24/7 I am taking the role of creative director and P.R. manager, and putting my chatter to good use instead of my Wacom pen!

With this new mission in mind, one of my first goals has been to create Designog.com as a place where our designers can discuss design trends and ideas, announce the launches of our designs as well as the design/tech intricacies that distinguish those projects, and maybe even vent or critique from time to time the design life!
